Phillip Henri, born Phillip Henriquez, is a Venezuelan-born, self-taught artist who has called Miami, Florida home since the 1980s. From a young age, Phillip showed a deep curiosity and imagination—his creative journey began with Lego sets and coloring books, where he consistently went beyond the expected. He built models and figurines with a unique flair and applied colors in bold, unconventional ways, always choosing creativity over conformity.

As a child, Phillip was a dreamer—often lost in thought, letting his imagination soar as if detached from reality. That imaginative spirit never left him, even as he stepped into adulthood and the demands of a 9-to-5 job. Balancing his artistic passion with everyday responsibilities, Phillip found a rhythm that allowed him to revisit and share his work with the world. His dedication led to showcasing some of his earlier pieces in local art shows across Miami Beach, and in fall 2023, he proudly exhibited a recent work at a gallery in Wynwood. The following year, he had the opportunity to display two of his latest creations at the Intercontinental Hotel in Doral, Florida.

Phillip’s mission as an artist is to create connection—each piece he makes is meant to tell a story, spark optimism, and inspire. His art reflects a hopeful view of nature, life, and the future, with the intention of leaving a positive mark on generations to come.
